Alright California!!!! This just in, California has just approved 2,800 MW or 3 GW of solar power projects. That's a whole lot of solar, and is continuing with a recent trend in the interest and production of solar power projects throughout the world. This one is quite large scale however. The main reason for this huge approval are due to a deadline of the recovery act funds, which is part of the stimulus and to be able to qualify for it the projects must be under construction by the end of the year. The Recovery Act will allow all solar installations to receive a 30% tax credit. This reduces the solar power costs dramatically.
